Ambience and Fx

Field recordings are essential to achieve an authentic and fresh sonic signature for a particular film. Each story comes alive with a sound design created out of original sonic elements. Every project benefits from a sound concept with dedicated fx & ambience recordings, creatively put together by the director and sound department. It is an equally advantageous process from a production perspective, since it is more often the case that going out to record specific sounds is less time-consuming than the process of searching, filtering, and processing sounds from commercial sound libraries.

My thirteen years experience of ambience and FX recordings in several continents and diverse environments, from megacities to virgin forests, have resulted not only in a diverse personal sound library but also in an invaluable learning experience on the field.
